Sgraffito coasters

Create a set of 4 coasters using the sgraffito technique and scrach your design into the clay! Your coasters will be pre-made with a black slip covering to scratch into. Coasters will be roughly 10x10cm and its best to bring some design ideas with you then you can have somthing to trace from. We will have some pattern ideas and examples available on the day too.

Once fired they will be dipped in a clear glaze to make them shinny and will be ready to collect around 3 weeks after the workshop. These items can also be posted if you cannot collect.

Once ready to collect items are held for 4 weeks. Due to space we are unable to store items indefinitely and after this time they will be recycled or re-purposed.

Accessibility Notice

Please note that our clay and glass studio is a working studio. This means that it has a high standing bench and stools. Unfortunately making it unsuitable for wheelchair users or those who cannot stand for extended periods.

Workshops and classes are aimed at adults and suitable for children over the age of 10 years old.
